It is always easy to come up with ideas about things other people should do, or change, in order to improve things. Whilst this can be a fun way to spend an afternoon, it is rarely productive. High performing teams recognise that they can’t always predict and change other people’s behaviour other than by modifying their own in order to achieve a different outcome.
