How- Be data-led.
If you’ve been following this series I hope I don’t have to say this, but it is important to use objective data to measure outcomes where-ever possible. Just to hammer the point home, here are things which are not data: a hunch, a feeling, anecdotes, case studies, your opinion. #SorryNotSorry.
You will get the best possible results when you design experiments which aim to affect a very small number of variables (ideally one), and which you can measure with objective data which can’t be gamed.
