Accidental Business School: Press Release

Cheshire-based Rubystar Associates launches initiative to boost the business power of fledgling companies.

Experts in ooomph, Rubystar Associates are soon to debut the Accidental Business School- a clear, jargon-free course in business knowhow for ‘accidental’ business people.

Rubystar Associates are a creative bunch of business brains, with extensive and specialist knowledge in areas such as marketing, sales and presentation.

Described as “rocket fuel for your business”, “supremely creative and personable” and “an unstoppable Ooomph-mobile”, together, the team have worked to develop and grow numerous small companies, charities and social enterprises, enabling them to think big when it comes to business.

In their latest venture, Rubystar Associates are looking for freelance and self-employed business people who’ve turned their passion into profit and are looking for ways to get more out of their trade.

Accidental business people could be comedians, therapists, artists, writers, designers, yoga teachers, stylists and more; the common thread being that they just don’t feel like a natural business-type. On a good day they feel like a successful maverick, but on a bad day they worry that other businesses know something they don’t.

The Accidental Business School provides human, applicable and distinctive advice- without the jargon and corporate environment. The aim is simple: to equip passionate self-employed and freelance superstars with the knowledge they need to make a real living doing what they love.

The team are looking for partner organisations, who work with groups of accidental business people, to run one-day events in conjunction with the Accidental Business School brand.

In return for a venue and a minimum of 10 participants (paying £97 each for the day), Rubystar Associates will provide a vibrant event associated with your company, the training, approach and promotion. Income will be split 50/50 after catering costs.
