To make a point, tell a story
We’ve decided to take the advice of this Management Tip of the Day from Harvard Business Review: To make a point, tell a story | Reuters http://t.co/HSvfXrQ via @reuters.
Lots of people have asked who RubyStar is, and those who know us, know that RubyStar is a concept, not a person. But, many of you won’t know that the inspiration for this name comes with its very own analogy for what we do. A Star Ruby is a rare and beautiful gem stone, a heavily occluded (or cloudy) piece of ruby, with a specific flaw within, which causes light that shines directly on it to be reflected back in the form of a six pointed star. Read more about star rubies here: http://www.starruby.in/.
We’ll leave you to ponder on it, whilst we get back to our day job of doing what we can to illuminate the wonderful gems that we call clients, helping them to reveal the true wonder within. OK, its corny as hell, but if HBR are right, you now have a handy way to always remember what we do. And, if you are feeling more occluded than normal today, you can always give us a call – we’ll bring our torch.
